Lineage II Classic: Shadow of the Kamael Update Preview
Lineage II Classic: Shadow of the Kamael emerges from the shadows on August 7 along with new systems and changes, including increased Adena drops!
Introducing the Jin Kamael
The Jin Kamael race was born through the Giants’ experiment with creating life. Seeing themselves as gods incarnate, the Giants performed experiments on bodies and the lifeform soul to create the Jin Kamael. Unlike the Kamael before them, the Jin Kamael weren’t sent into battle, but continued to be part of the Giants’ experiments. It didn’t take long for the Jin Kamael begin to develop a mind and soul of their own.
The Jin Kamael are a new race coming to Lineage II Classic. This race can only be a warrior and will have naturally high combat stats, but low CON and MEN. Possessing only the ability to learn passive skills, the Jin Kamael can learn Shine/Shadow Mastery after the 1st class transfer. Shine and Shadow Souls can be obtained through combat, and then used to transform the Jin Kamael into a Scythe that gives bonus stats.
Adena Drop Rate Increase
The servers will receive a permanent 20% increase for Adena drops.
Soulshot and Spiritshot Consolidation
Soulshot and Spiritshot Grades will be eliminated. We’re consolidating all the various types into one type that you can buy from the Grocer. Your current Soulshots and Spiritshots (depending on the Grade) can be exchanged at the Dimensional Merchant for the new Soulshot/Spiritshot. Existing Soulshot/Spiritshot recipes can be sold to the Dimensional Merchant NPC for Adena. All previous Shots and Shot-related recipes will be exchangeable until they are deleted on October 7.
