Fortnite 11.50 Patch Notes – Detailed Unofficial…

Fortnite 11.50 Patch Notes – Detailed Unofficial Update Information

These are the unofficial Fortnite 11.50 Patch Notes! Epic hasn’t been compiling detailed notes for every patch like they used to, so we’re putting together a list of everything that changed in the new update. We have bug fix information, and will be posting whatever else has been added to the game. We will add the official patch notes if they are posted.

Patch Release Date & Time

The Fortnite 11.50 Patch has been announced, but an exact release date has not been revealed. From the recent Epic update, it is supposed to release in early February. If we were to guess, we’d expect it to release on February 5th or 12th. When we get the official date, we’ll update this post with more information. You can expect an hour or two of downtime that usually starts at 4 AM ET (0900 UTC).

FORTNITE 11.50 PATCH BUG FIXES

Here are the expected bug fixes for the 11.50 patch. These were taken from the Trello that display all of the stuff that Epic is working on in terms of bugs.

Battle Royale

  • When a new player on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch first links their Epic account, they may have trouble finding a match.
  • Progress for the “Earn Gold Scavenger Medals” Rippley vs. Sludge Overtime Challenge may not track at times.
  • If a player completes the “Search Chests in a single match” Chaos Rising Challenge after completing the “Save yourself from fall damage by landing in a Hideout” Trick Shot Challenge, their completion of the former may not be saved.
  • We’re aware that the Sidegrading feature is present in competitive playlists. This is unintentional — the feature will be disabled in competitive playlists in our next major release.

Creative

  • Some players are unable to aim down sights after being eliminated in a Creative match.

Mobile

  • The swipe-up feature on my has been reported to be interfering with buttons near the bottom of the screen or closing the app on players

UNOFFICIAL PATCH NOTES

Here’s where we will be detailing all of the things that have been added to the game that weren’t covered by Epic. If you’re looking for leaked cosmetics, we will have a full look at them.

We’re not exactly sure what to expect from this patch, but it looks like Epic is moving Fortnite onto Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics system. This is a pretty big upgrade, which could lead to a lot of interesting new physics based additions to the game. You can see what this physics engine is capable of in this video:

We also learned that this patch will be bringing us some additional Overtime Challenges and a new two-week event! So, this is going to end up being a pretty big patch, and could have a lot of exciting new stuff to discuss once it launches.
